After positive experiences with the Zenbivy sleeping bag and the Ultralight mattress, the Radreiseglück team also put the Zenbivy Pillow to the test – four months of continuous use on a cycling trip through Scandinavia, in sun, rain, heat and cold. Even with dog Pilar in the tent, it passed the ultimate endurance test.
The pillow impressed as the perfect combination of compact outdoor gear and “at-home comfort.” The modular three-part system consists of a washable polyester cover, an inflatable PU air core with a quick valve, and a down topper made from RDS-certified down. This combination provides both support and softness, and thanks to the head clips it integrates perfectly into the Zenbivy quilt system, though it also works flawlessly on its own.
Setup is remarkably simple: inflate, assemble, sleep – then release the air, roll it up and pack it away. Despite weighing only 176 grams and packing down extremely small, the testers praised its outstanding comfort – even after long days of riding, there were no neck pains.
Durability & Care
Dog claws, frequent washing and a small repair didn’t bother the pillow at all. Treated with Nikwax, the down filling remained soft and moisture-resistant over time.
“Sore necks and restless nights – goodbye.” The Zenbivy Pillow impressed with its comfort, build quality and well-thought-out design. Particularly praised were its ultralight pack size, soft and high-quality materials, quick setup and easy cleaning, as well as the use of sustainable components such as RDS-certified down and recycled PU.
The only drawback is the price, which is above average but considered justified, as standard inflatable pillows can hardly match its comfort.
